Jerry Bravo

Bio

Venezuelan-born bassist, arranger/composer/producer. His  parents of Puerto Rican and Venezuelan heritage moved to  the US in 1977. In 1990, Jerry Enlists in the US Army Band,  getting exposure to many different styles of music.  After his army band enlistment,  Jerry returns to Orlando and begins working with several music groups in the area as well as touring and recording  with several artists.

He can be heard on some award  winning albums such as, Nestor Torres “Nouveau  Latino”(2008) nominated for a Grammy for best Latin jazz  album of the year. With Colombian singer Andres Cepeda's  "Lo mejor que hay en mi vida"(2013) winner of a Latin  Grammy," Dr. Ed Calle Presents Mamblue"(2015), Latin  Grammy winner, and most recently a Latin Grammy  nomination with Colombian artist Paula Arenas for the  Album "Viceral"(2019), Marcos Witt , “Vivire”(2022), Latin  Grammy winner , Best Christian Album.  Camilo Velencia/Richard Bravo “Maid In Miami” (2023) Latin  Grammy Winner.

 Jerry's  first solo album "Can't Wait To Get Started" (Big Band instrumental), with his own original compositions and arrangements was released on May 23rd.
